The GEKON disc harrow operates on the principle of intensive tillage of the topsoil. As the machine moves, the discs penetrate the soil, cut into it, break it up, and mix it with crop residues. The plant material does not remain as a solid layer on the surface but is evenly distributed throughout the tilled layer.

The discs are mounted on spring-loaded arms, which ensure smooth operation, protect the bearing assembly from stress, and help reduce the machine’s traction resistance.

Thanks to an innovative terrain-following system, the working parts adapt to field irregularities as the machine moves. The discs maintain a consistent depth, work the soil evenly, and level the field surface across the entire working width.

After passing through the discs, the soil passes under the roller. The GEKON uses a roller without a central axle, which reduces the risk of clogging in wet soil and in the presence of large amounts of crop residue, while also helping to maintain a uniform working depth.

In a single pass, the GEKON performs several important tasks at once: it cuts into the topsoil, shreds and mixes crop residues, levels the field surface, and prepares the ground for subsequent agricultural operations.

The GEKON operates quickly and efficiently: depending on the model, the working width ranges from 2.75 to 9.25 m, the maximum working speed is up to 20 km/h, and the tillage depth is 3–15 cm.
